This particular image was shot with a 50mm lens and that means I was pretty close to the couple. It also means the perspective is quite natural. For me, one of the most important things as a wedding photographer is being able to blend into the crowd. Working with a small camera, without flash, and behaving not like a typical photographer is crucial. My pictures are all about emotion and capturing them in a natural way, without huge telephoto lenses. I just love how bride and groom are literally laughing out loud…
